Today I thought it would be a good day to go to the zoo with two adorable girls…..they agreed. We got in my car and zoomed away…
Why, yes! It does seem as though SOME
ONE got into the magi markers and tattooed their legs…….and painted their big toe black……(sigh)
The FIRST matter of business is GET THE DOUBLE STROLLER with mega restraints. Although those are Houdini girls so restraints mean nothing to them…..they are quite crafty….
We saw all kinds of animals, birds and even a peacock was strolling around our picnic table!! I wish, wish, wish I could have been quicker on the draw when the duck waddled up to Sofia and snatched a cracker right out of her hand….WHERE WAS MY CAMERA? She screamed bloody murder and so picnic time was SO over.
So let’s go to the petting zoo so we can pick up some nasty, goat disease….Paloma didn’t have the nerve to actually ‘touch’ one of the goats but she did a lot of waving. And then there was SUCH LOUD LAUGHING…….I’m talking Belly laughter!!
It seemed that the goat pooped and Paloma decided it was the funniest thing she had ever seen…..and it probably was. So she decided to point it out so I could laugh too.
After Sofia milked the fake cow we decided that it would be lovely to put on our bathing suits and play in the water. Wait. Let’s clarify…..only TWO of us put on bathing suits and pranced in the water……(I’m not one of them).
By now…Nani is getting reeeeeeally tired. So before my skin started to feel/look like this…
we decided it would be a good idea to go on home. It was a fun day and I’m glad that I was able to take them! They are the little loves of my life and my heart gets bigger each time I am with them!!
